Sergio Ayerra Gorraiz

A lawyer specialising in corporate and insolvency law, with a career focused on providing legal advice to national and multinational companies. Since 2019, he has been part of the Brexia Legal team, where he has been involved in M&A transactions, restructuring processes and bankruptcy proceedings.

In the corporate area, his intervention covers all phases of the operation: from the identification of opportunities and the definition of the most appropriate legal approach to strategic planning, negotiation and closing. In the insolvency area, he advises companies on reorganisation processes and strategic decision-making in complex contexts; his experience includes debt restructuring and intervention in insolvency proceedings.

From a training point of view, he has completed the Executive Program in company acquisition operations and restructuring and refinancing processes at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid (IE University Law School), the result of the merger of two traditional programs, Corporate Legal and Business Restructuring, as well as the Strategic Negotiation Workshop, focused on the management of business relationships and decision making in complex environments.

In addition to his professional activity, he collaborates in the project Aprendiendo a Emprender with Ibercaja and participates as a volunteer in the NGO Atades.
